About Our Fabrics
Undercover offers bedding in two fabrics, the 100% organic cotton range and the popular 50% TENCEL™ and 50% cotton fabric.

Undercover is produced in a family-run business in northern Portugal. The factory is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.
We combine 50% TENCEL™ with 50% long-staple (high-quality) cotton. After extensive testing, we were more convinced by the combination of cotton and TENCEL™ than by a fabric made from 100% TENCEL™. TENCEL™ itself feels almost like silk, and the cotton gives the fabric a little more structure, which is ideal for bedding.
Our products have been certified by the OEKO-TEX seal as free from harmful chemicals. TENCEL™ is generally a good choice for people with sensitive skin, although we cannot guarantee that our products are allergen-free. They feel very soft on the skin.
Most of the dyes we use are not natural but they are eco-friendly. There are some natural dye alternatives, however, they tend to give poorer results in terms of colorfastness and their color palette is much more limited. Another problem is that to achieve darker colors using these natural dyes, a lot of natural resources would be needed, so it is not a truly viable option at the moment.
Our products are OEKO TEX certified, meaning they contain no harmful chemicals. Our organic cotton range also uses dyes approved by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).
Our manufacturers also have numerous quality and environmental certificates, including ISO14 1001 and OHSAS, as well as state audits that ensure they comply with EU regulations.
Shipping and Returns
Orders placed on the Swiss website are shipped directly from Switzerland. If you wish to order an international size, please feel free to order on the international site. Customs duties and VAT may apply to international orders.

If you order within Switzerland or Liechtenstein, you do not have to pay customs duties, as we deliver from Switzerland. If you order in Germany or Austria, customs duties and VAT may apply.

Care instructions
Organic Cotton Collection:
Machine wash up to 60°C and tumble dry normal. Do not bleach or dry clean.
TENCEL™ Collection:
Machine wash your bedding at up to 40 degrees and tumble dry on a low or medium setting. Iron on a medium setting. Do not use bleach or dry cleaning.
Our fabrics are woven to be resistant to wear and tear and pilling. We recommend that you do not use harsh detergents with optical brighteners and never use bleach, as this can damage the fabric. You should not wash Undercover bedding at excessively high temperatures.
A little. This is because we don't add polyester or use artificial anti-wrinkle treatments that damage the fabric. Wrinkles are not a sign of poor quality; they are inherent in natural, high-quality fabrics. You can iron your bedding with steam to remove wrinkles, or hang it to dry immediately after washing. Wrinkles occur if you leave the bedding damp or wet in the washing machine.
Our organic cotton collection is pre-washed and therefore has a relaxed, crinkled texture. We recommend leaving these products unironed.
