Undercover offers bedding in two fabrics, the new 100% organic cotton range and the popular 50% TENCEL™ and 50% cotton fabric.

Undercover is manufactured in a family-run factory in the north of Portugal. The factory is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified.

We combine 50% TENCEL™ with 50% long staple (high quality) cotton. After extensive testing, we were more convinced by the combination of cotton and TENCEL™ than a fabric made of 100% TENCEL™. TENCEL™ itself feels almost like silk, and the cotton gives the fabric a little more structure, which is ideal for bedding.

For our 100% organic cotton collection we only use GOTS-certified organic cotton. For our TENCEL™ cotton collection we use a very high-quality, hard-wearing cotton that is unfortunately difficult to obtain in an organic standard.

Our products are certified free from harmful chemicals with the OEKO-TEX seal. TENCEL™ is generally a good choice for people with sensitive skin, although we cannot guarantee that our products are free from allergens. They feel very soft on the skin.

Most of the dyes we use are not natural, but they are environmentally friendly. There are some natural dye alternatives, but they tend to have poorer results in terms of colorfastness and their color range is much more limited. Another problem is that to achieve darker colors with these natural dyes you would need a lot of natural resources, so it's not really a viable option at the moment.

Our products are OEKO TEX certified, meaning they do not contain any harmful chemicals. Our organic cotton range also uses dyes approved by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard).

Our manufacturers also hold numerous quality and environmental certificates, including ISO14 1001 and OHSAS, as well as government audits to ensure they comply with EU regulations.

Organic Cotton Collection:

Machine wash up to 60°C and tumble dry normally. Do not bleach or dry clean.

TENCEL™ Collection:

Wash your bed linen in the washing machine at up to 40 degrees and tumble dry on a low or medium setting. Iron on a medium setting. Do not use bleach or dry clean.

Our fabrics are woven to be resistant to wear and tear and pilling. We recommend that you do not use strong cleaning agents with optical brighteners and never bleach, as this can damage the fabric. You should not wash Undercover bed linen at temperatures that are too high.

A little bit. That's because we don't add polyester or do any artificial anti-wrinkle treatment that damages the fabric. Wrinkles are not a sign of poor quality, they are part of natural, high-quality fabrics. You can steam iron your bedding to remove the wrinkles or hang it to dry immediately after washing. Wrinkles occur when you leave the bedding damp or wet in the washing machine.

Our organic cotton collection is pre-washed and therefore has a relaxed, crinkled texture. We recommend leaving these products unironed.

Don't worry. Thanks to the highest quality standards, your duvet covers will not discolor when washed. Just make sure not to wash at temperatures higher than 40 degrees and do not use bleaching detergents.
